Cargo Coverage Details
We also offer Theft & Pilferage (TP) and Non-delivery under ICC-B; ICC-A covers all risks with certain exceptions. Inland Transit coverage is available by Truck, Lorry, Rail, Barge or Country Boat. The new Marine Policy automatically includes:
- 60 days coverage at the seaport from date of discharge under categories A, B and C
- Coverage for inland transit by road, rail or barge
- War, strikes, riots & civil commotion (SRCC) on payment of additional premium
Marine Hull Insurance
Marine Hull Insurance covers the risks associated with ships. Typical components covered include:
- Hull
- Plant & Machinery
- Refrigeration Machinery, etc.
- Freight (if paid after the ship owner assumes the risk)
Hull — Risk Categories
- ITC (All Risk Policy)
- TLO (Total Loss Only)
- Comprehensive cover on Hull & Machinery as per ITC Hull clause
- Total Loss only including Sue & Labour charge on Hull & Machinery
